Donation

On April 28, 2016, the board of directors of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. approved a donation of KRW 15.0 billion to Sungkyunkwan University.

As a responsible corporate citizen, Samsung Electronics seek to participate supporting higher education and educational institutions, addressing the problems faced by communities and enriching the lives of its members through corporate contributions and corporate social responsibility programs.

※ Note: Pursuant to the Korean Fair Trade Act, a donor is required to disclose contributions to charitable organizations if the amount of the donation exceeds KRW 5 billion and the recipient is an affiliated entity of the donor.
