Sovereign Mines of Africa PLC (AIM:SML), the gold mining exploration Company with properties in the Republic of Guinea in West Africa, received notification on 11 June 2014 that following the acquisition of 15,693,490 ordinary shares of 1 pence in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 0.49 pence per share, Cesar Flavio Monteiro is now interested in 15,693,490 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.05% of the issued share capital and voting rights of the Company.
