2 May 2008 SILENTPOINT PLC ("Silentpoint" or "the Company") Directors' shareholding
The Company announces that it was notified yesterday that Haresh Kanabar, chairman of the Company, purchased 230,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Shares") on 1 May 2008 at 4.75p per Share, equivalent to 1.44 per cent. of the issued voting share capital of the Company. Mr Kanabar now holds 1,956,070 Shares in Silentpoint, equivalent to 12.28 per cent. of the issued voting share capital of the Company.
The Company was also notified that Smit Berry, chief-executive of the Company, purchased 200,000 Shares on 1 May 2008 at 4.75p per Share, equivalent to 1.26 per cent. of the issued voting share capital of the Company. Mr Berry now holds 4,307,144 Shares in Silentpoint, equivalent to 27.03 per cent. of the issued voting share capital of the Company.
In addition, the Company was notified yesterday that Mr Richard Hoy no longer has a notifiable interest in the issued voting share capital of the Company.
