Half Year Trading Update

Science in Sport plc (AIM: SIS), a leading sports nutrition company, is pleased to announce the following pre-close trading update ahead of its financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2015.

The Board is pleased to report another successful trading period during which sales continued to grow strongly.

Sales increased 19% to £5.24 million in the six months to 30 June 2015 compared with the same period the previous year (pro forma H1 2014 £4.42 million). Sales growth was particularly strong in e-commerce, both from third-party e-tailers and from the Company's own website, and in international markets.

As highlighted in the Company's preliminary results issued in March 2015, it is expected that year on year sales growth will be weighted towards the second half of the financial year.

The Board remains confident of the outlook for the full year and beyond.

SiS intends to issue its half year results on Thursday 24 September 2015.
