Board Appointment
The Board of Directors of Tufton Oceanic Assets Limited (LSE: SHIP), is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Rødsæther as a non-executive Director of the Company, the effective date of which will be confirmed by the Company in due course and is subject to regulatory approval.
Christine is a partner of law firm Simonsen Vogt Wiig, with more than 30 years' experience working in the international shipping sector and offshore related transactions, design, vessel construction, offshore installations, restructurings, international banking and finance. Previously, she was a partner in Andersen Legal ANS and a lawyer at Wikborg, Rein & Co. Christine has extensive board experience, and currently serves on the boards of OSE listed Odfjell SE and Norwegian Finans Holding ASA as well as Bank Norwegian AS. Christine is Norwegian and is resident in Norway.

DIRECTORS' DECLARATIONS PURSUANT TO RULE 9.6.13R OF THE LISTING RULES
As noted above, Christine is currently a director of the Oslo Stock Exchange listed companies Odfjell SE and and Norwegian Finans Holding ASA as well as Bank Norwegian AS.
Within the last five years, Christine Rødsæther has been a director of Tide ASA. She resigned in 2017 when the Company delisted from the Oslo Stock Exchange. Additionally, Christine was previously a director of Songa Bulk ASA (a Company formerly listed on Oslo Axess) and resigned in 2018 following a merger with Axxis Geo Solutions.
There are no further disclosures required under Rule 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the UKLA in respect of Christine Rødsæther.
The Board of Directors consider Christine to be independent on appointment per the AIC Code of Corporate Governance.

Tufton Oceanic Assets Limited invests in a diversified portfolio of secondhand commercial sea-going vessels with the objective of delivering strong cash flow and capital gains to investors. The Company's investment manager is Tufton Oceanic Ltd. The Company has raised a total of approximately $250m (gross) through its Initial Public Offering on the Specialist Fund Segment of the London Stock Exchange, on 20 December 2017, a subsequent placing and offer in October 2018, a placing in March 2019 and a placing in September 2019.
