GENERAL TEXT AMENDEMENT
The following amendment has been made to the Director Dealing announcement released on 20 December 2016 at 07:00 under RNS No 2920S.
The second paragraph should have stated: "Following this sale, Robin Fryer holds 690,000 ordinary shares in the Company which represents 0.12% of the Company's issued share capital."
All other details remain unchanged.

Shanta Gold (AIM: SHG), the East Africa-focused gold producer, developer and explorer, was informed on 19 December 2016 that Robin Fryer, Non-Executive Director of Shanta Gold, has sold on the same date, 30,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 9 pence per share.
Following this sale, Robin Fryer holds 690,000 ordinary shares in the Company which represents 0.12% of the Company's issued share capital.
