Sanctuary Group PLC24 July 2006 Monday 24 July 2006: For immediate release THE SANCTUARY GROUP Board Changes The Sanctuary Group, ('Sanctuary' or 'Group'), the international music group,today announces the appointment of John Preston as a non-executive director witheffect from 24 July 2006. The Group also announces the retirement of non-executive director, JohnnyGreenall, who will be leaving the Board today. John Preston (55) has had some 25 years in the international Recorded Productindustry operating at the highest level. He was Chairman of BMG Records for theUK and Ireland in the late 1990's as well as Chairman of the BritishPhonographic Industry (BPI). Prior to that he has been the Managing Director forRCA Records and Polydor Records as well as General Manager for Decca Records andMarketing Manager at EMI Records. The artists he has been involved with rangefrom Eurythmics and M People through to Lionel Ritchie, Take That and WhitneyHouston. In addition to becoming a non-executive Director, he will be on theAudit and Remuneration Committees. The Sanctuary Group plc Board is now structured as follows: Robert Ayling - Chairman John Preston - Non executiveFrank Presland - CEO Tina Sharp - Non executivePaul Wallace - Finance Director James Wallace - Non executive Bob Ayling, Chairman, said: "I am delighted John has agreed to join us.
