Directorate Change
The Company announces that Andrew Cook, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, will be stepping down from his position on the Board with effect from 29 March 2019 in order to pursue other interests.
The Board has commenced a formal process of appointing a replacement, considering both internal and external candidates. In the meantime, Anthony Gee, a chartered accountant who has worked in senior finance roles and is currently the Group's Chief Operating Officer, will act in a non-Board position as Interim Chief Finance Officer. Anthony has been with the Group for six years.
Harry Wilson, Non-Executive Chairman said:
"This change comes at a natural time as the business moves out of its recovery and restructuring phase and into building for the future. I would like to thank Andy for his outstanding contribution over the three years since he joined Stanley Gibbons. It is largely as a result of his hard work that the Group has been able to overcome the issues that it faced and we wish him well in his new endeavours."
