Severfield-Rowen Plc Board Changes

Severfield-Rowen, the market leading structural steelwork company, announces today that Toby Hayward is stepping down from his role as Non-executive Chairman with the Company from 1 September 2011 as other business commitments have become increasingly time consuming. Toby has been Chairman of the Company since June 2008.

Toby will remain a Non-executive Director of Severfield-Rowen Plc and will Chair the Company's Audit Committee.

John Dodds, currently a Non-executive Director of the Company, is appointed as Non-executive Chairman with effect from 1 September 2011.

Commenting, Tom Haughey, CEO, said, "Although Toby is stepping down from the Chair, I am very pleased that he will continue lending his support as a Non-executive Director. On behalf of the Company and the Board, I would like to thank Toby for his contributions as Chairman over the past 3 years, which has seen the Company strengthen its UK market position and grow its overseas involvement.
