Appointment of Phil Redding to the Board
Schroder European Real Estate Investment Trust plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Redding as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, with effect from 1 January 2026. The Company also confirms that Sir Julian Berney Bt. will be stepping down as Chairman and retiring from the Board at the conclusion of the AGM in March 2026, and will be succeeded by Mr Redding.
Mr Redding brings over 35 years of experience in the UK & pan-European property sector, having begun his career at King Sturge LLP (now JLL). He previously served as Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director at FTSE 100 SEGRO plc, and most recently, as Chief Executive Officer of Tritax EuroBox plc, where he led the business through its acquisition by Brookfield in December 2024. Mr Redding left Tritax following the successful completion of the transaction in September 2025.
Mr Redding will become a member of the Audit, Valuation and Risk Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Management Engagement Committee.
Mr Redding is currently a Non-Executive Director of Harworth Group plc and a member of its Remuneration Committee.

At the same time, we're pleased to be announcing that Phil will be joining the Board and taking up the Chairman's role. His extensive experience across both the UK listed markets and direct European real estate, coupled with his recent corporate finance activity, means he is ideally placed to lead the Company in 2026 and beyond."
It is confirmed that there are no other details to be disclosed concerning Mr Redding under UK Listing Rule 6.4.8R.
