Speedy, the UK's leading provider of tools and equipment hire, and services to the construction, infrastructure and industrial markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol Kavanagh as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 June 2021. Carol will also become a member of the Remuneration Committee from that date.

Carol has over 20 years of experience working in senior public company human resource roles across construction and retail sectors, including as Group HR Director for Travis Perkins Plc from 2007 to 2020. Carol has also held senior positions at Home Retail Group and Safeway Food Stores (now Morrisons).

The Company confirms that there is no further information required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the UK Listing Rules.
