Exercise of Options / Issue of Equity
SpaceandPeople (AIM:SAL) the retail, promotional and brand experience specialist, announces that it has issued and allotted 45,500 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to the exercise of options of the Company. Application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 18 April 2013.
Included in the above transaction, David Henderson-Williams, Chairman of SpaceandPeople, has exercised 25,000 options at an exercise price of 65p per Ordinary Share. Following this transaction, Mr. Henderson-Williams will hold 65,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.3 per cent. of the Company's total issued share capital.
The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of the Company. Following the exercise of the options, the number of Ordinary Shares in issue, and the total number of voting rights, has increased to 19,503,563. This is the figure which may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
