Transaction in own shares

Science Group plc (AIM:SAG) announces that, on 15 September 2023, it purchased 1,393 of its 1 pence ordinary shares at an average price of 400.0 pence per share. The highest price paid per share was 400.0 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 400.0 pence. The Company purchased these shares through Liberum Capital Limited.

The number of shares purchased represented 0.003% of the voting rights attributable to the total ordinary shares in issue prior to the purchase. The purchased shares will be held in treasury.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) following this announcement is 46,095,471. Science Group holds 90,403 shares in treasury and a further 4,799 shares are held by the Frontier Smart Technologies Employee Benefit Trust. The total number of voting rights in the Company following this announcement is therefore 46,090,672.

The figure of 46,090,672 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
