AGM trading update

RTC Group Plc will hold its Annual General Meeting at 12 noon today. At the meeting, A M Pendlebury, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive, will make the following statement:

"I was delighted to report another year of record profit after tax and positive cash generation in 2024 resulting in a further increase in dividend for our shareholders. This was achieved notwithstanding the well-publicised challenges faced by the rail sector during the period."

In the first quarter of 2025 the Company continued its trajectory of positive trading and cash generation.

As we enter quarter two of 2025, we are beginning to witness the impact that the government's increases to employer's NI contributions and minimum wage are having on companies' appetite to recruit workers. Whilst this is clearly concerning, we believe our strategy of positioning the Group across targeted sectors sees it well placed to capitalise on new and emerging growth opportunities as they arise.

I would like to remind shareholders that the Group retains a clean balance sheet and continues to build its balance sheet through the generation of strong operating cash flows.

The Company's interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2025 will be published on or around 28 July 2025."
