Renishaw PLC08 May 2008 RENISHAW PLC INTERIM MANAGEMENT STATEMENT FROM 1ST JANUARY 2008 TO DATE Renishaw plc ("Renishaw" or "the Group") issues this Interim ManagementStatement in accordance with the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure andTransparency Rules. As anticipated in the recent half year report, performance of the Groupcontinues to remain strong with turnover ahead of the levels in the first halfof the year, despite competitive markets. We have resumed deliveries to a majorJapanese customer and interest in the REVO(TM) remains strong. We confidently expect the profit before tax in the year to 30th June 2008 toexceed our previous high achieved in financial year 2006 (£38.1m), partly aidedby the positive impact of currency exchange rate movements.
