Renishaw today announces that after 9 years John Jeans is stepping down as a Non-executive director of the Company, effective from 28 February 2022.

Commenting on John's decision, Sir David McMurtry, Executive Chairman said:

"John, who was appointed to the Board in April 2013, has made a considerable contribution to the Board and to Renishaw and I would like to thank him and wish him well for the future."

As announced in the Company's 2021 Annual Report, the Board and Nomination Committee have been actively engaged in a search process for independent non-executive directors and are at an advanced stage in this process. A further announcement will be made in due course.

In accordance with Section 430(2B) of the Companies Act 2006, the Company confirms that no payments will be made to John Jeans as a result of his retirement from the Board. He will receive his fee in line with his contractual terms to 28 February 2022.
