Share Buyback Programme

As the next portfolio valuation date is 30 September 2020, Riverstone Energy Limited (the "Company") announces that its £50.0 million share buyback programme has been paused. A further announcement regarding resumption of the programme will be made in due course. Since the Company's announcement on 1 May 2020, 14,787,504 ordinary shares have been bought back at a total cost of approximately £42.7 million, such that there is £7.3 million remaining of the target £50.0 million.
