Directorate Change

Following the announcement by Riverstone Energy Limited on 29 April 2016, the Company is pleased to confirm that Ken Ryan and Jeremy Thompson have been elected to the board of directors of the Company (the "Board") as non-executive directors at the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") on 19 May 2016, with effect from the close of the AGM.

Ken Ryan and Jeremy Thompson confirm that there are no details to be disclosed, in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.13, other than those made in the announcement of 29 April 2016.

Following the retirement of the non-executive Chairman of the Board, Sir Robert Wilson, and James Hackett, as non-executive director, at the AGM, in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11(2), the Company is pleased to confirm that Sir Robert has been succeeded as non-executive Chairman of the Board by Richard Hayden, who has also succeeded Sir Robert as Chair of the Company's Nominations Committee. Further, Claire Whittet will replace Sir Robert as Chair of the Management Engagement Committee and Patrick Firth will replace Richard Hayden as Chair of the Audit Committee and as the Company's Senior Independent Director.  All appointments are with effect from 19 May 2016.
