Colombia - gold sales

Red Rock Resources plc ("Red Rock" or the "Company"), the gold mining and exploration company with projects in Greenland and Colombia, exploration in Kenya, and interests in steel feed, uranium,

and rare earths, reports on gold sales in Colombia.

Performance at the El Limon mine has continued to improve in the third quarter of 2011. The 246% rise in gold sales is in part due to the focus on increasing the grade of the ore being mined. Improvements and upgrades at the mine and the plant have increased the efficiency of operations and further work will be carried out in the final quarter of 2011, which is expected to see further progress in production.

Introduction of a third daily shift at the plant allowed an average of 70 tpd of ore to be processed in September up from 52 tpd in July and 45 tpd in August.

Operational management has been strengthened with the key hire of a Head of Mining, a mining engineer recruited from Peru with over 30 years' experience in underground mining.

The month ending 30th September 2011 shows (preliminary figures and subject to revision) gold sales from the El Limon mine at 527 ounces (16.4kgs), up 2.9% from sales in August of 512 ounces (15.9 kg), and in July of 361 oz (11.2 kg). Sales of silver during the month of September 2011 were 391 ounces (12.2 kg) after 394 ounces (12.3 kg) in August and 266 ounces (8.3 kg) in July.
