Vane Minerals PLC12 December 2006 12th December 2006 VANE Minerals Plc (AIM: VML) Further Drilling Permits Granted for Uranium Exploration VANE Minerals Plc today announces that its uranium subsidiary VANE Minerals (US)LLC ("VANE (US)" or "the Company") has been granted further drilling permits forthe Big Red Pipe and the Rabbit target in the breccia pipe district of northernArizona. The permits were granted further to proposals submitted by the Company in earlyDecember, as announced on the 4th of December. VANE (US) is continuing with the drilling permitting process on its additionalbreccia pipe targets and the Company anticipates that it will commence its firstround of drilling as part of its uranium exploration programme the weekcommencing 18th December on the Red Dike and Miller pipes. VANE plans to commence drilling on the Big Red Pipe and Rabbit targets oncompletion of the planned round at Miller and Red Dike.
