Roc Oil Company Limited11 April 2006 11 April 2006 ROC OIL COMPANY LIMITED ("ROC") STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE EXPLORATION DRILLING UPDATE 1. Jacala-1, WA-351-P, Carnarvon Basin, Offshore Western Australia (ROC: 20%) ROC advises that the BHP Billiton-operated Jacala-1 wildcat exploration well inWA-351-P re-commenced drilling operations on 10 April 2006, following the secondevacuation of personnel from the Atwood Eagle rig due to further cycloneactivity. As at 0600 hrs Western Standard Time on 11 April 2006, the well had been drilleda further 530 metres to a depth of 1,670 metres below rotary table, in a waterdepth of 1,062 metres and the current operation is pulling out of hole atapproximately 550 metres below rotary table in preparation for running 13 3/8inch casing. The well is now expected to take about seven days to reach a totaldepth of 2,322 metres. Jacala-1 is located approximately 200 km west of Barrow Island and 100 kmnorthwest of the Enfield Oil and Gas Field. 2. Willows-1, PEDL030, Onshore UK (ROC: 100% & Operator) ROC advises that further to its release on 28 March 2006, and after the settingof the surface conductor was completed at 127 metres below rotary table, the ROCExplorer rig has commenced drilling activity on a 24 hour basis at the Willows-1exploration well location on 9 April 2006. The current operation at 2130 hrs UKTime on 10 April was drilling ahead in 143/4 inch hole at a depth of 170 metresbelow rotary table. The well is expected to take about 30 days to reach a totaldepth of 2,550 metres. Willows-1 is located 55 km east of York and approximately 15 km south ofScarborough.
