Analysis of the wireline and drill data indicates that the well has notencountered any significant hydrocarbons. However, there were indications of gasthroughout the approximately 1,150m thick carbonate primary target. As at 6:00am on 25 September 2006 preparations were underway to plug and abandonthe well. On completion of Flamant-1 the Atwood Hunter will drill the Aigrette-1exploration well in Block 7.
