Roc Oil Company Limited ("the Company" or "ROC")

Further to ROC's application to AIM for the admission of up to 146,656,751 Ordinary Shares in the Company (the "Application") and announcement of the previous allotments of shares under the Application, ROC announces that it has made a further allotment of 10,340,559 shares under the Application. Admission of these shares is expected on 25 November 2008 and the shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing shares in issue.
These shares have been allotted in connection with ROC's acquisition of Anzon Australia Limited ("AZA") ("the Offer") and ROC has allotted in total 143,547,973 shares under the Application. This further allotment is in respect of those AZA shares which ROC has acquired under the compulsory acquisition procedures of the Offer. In total, under the Offer, ROC has now acquired 174,222,666 AZA shares. This allotment is the final allotment under the Application.
Following the issue of these further shares, ROC's issued share capital consists of 588,031,673 Ordinary Shares.
