Renew Holdings PLC22 March 2006 Renew Holdings Plc ("Renew" or the "Group") AGM Statement At the Group's Annual General Meeting to be held today, Roy Harrison, Chairmanof Renew will say the following: I am pleased to report that in the first half of the year the Group has madegood progress. Our strategy of focusing on chosen specialist areas of activityand operating through lower risk, partnering arrangements with our clients isbearing fruit. The Group's order book at 28 February was £223m, an increase of16% in the year to date. Trading at the end of the first half is in line withexpectations. I am also pleased to announce the appointment of John Samuel as Group FinanceDirector. John was previously Group Financial Director of Zetex plc, a post heheld since July 2004. Prior to that he was Group Finance Director of Filtronicplc for 13 years. John will join the Board on 1 May this year, and brings withhim a wealth of PLC and managerial experience. As a result of the formation of an Executive Management Committee and theresultant changes to the executive reporting structure, Philip Underwood will bestepping down from the Board on 1 May to concentrate on running and furtherdeveloping the Group's specialist land remediation and nuclear engineeringbusinesses, VHE Construction and Shepley Engineers. The Board thanks Philip forhis valuable contribution in assisting to reposition the Group over the last twoand a half years.
