Appointment of Chairman and Non-Executive Director
RM plc, the global education solutions provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Martyn Ratcliffe as Chairman, and Deena Mattar as Non-Executive Director. Both appointments are effective June 1 2011.
As announced on March 25 2011, the current Chairman, John Leighfield, 72, is retiring after 17 years of service.
Martyn Ratcliffe, 50, has been Chairman of Microgen plc since 1998 and was appointed Chairman of Sagentia Group plc in April 2010. Prior to joining Microgen, Martyn was the senior vice-president of Dell Computer Corporation, responsible for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region.
Deena Mattar joined Kier Group plc in 1998 as Finance Director of Kier National, having previously held senior positions at KPMG, and was appointed to the Board as Group Finance Director in 2001. She was also appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Invensys plc on May 19 2011.
