Regus plc (“Regus” or “the Company”), the global workplace provider, today announces that it will appoint Mary R. “Nina” Henderson as a non-executive director of the Company. The appointment will take effect from 20 May 2014 and is subject to applicable law including shareholder approval at the Company’s forthcoming annual general meeting.
Nina Henderson is a highly experienced global manager and board director, having served on the boards of several international and multinational corporations. She is currently a director of Walter Energy Inc and of CNO Financial Group, both listed on the NYSE, and Managing Partner of Henderson Advisory.
Previous directorships include Del Monte Foods Company, AXA Financial, Inc., Pactiv Corporation, and Royal Dutch Shell plc. During her 30 year career with Bestfoods, a consumer products and food company, she held numerous general management positions. She was Corporate Vice President and Vice President Global Core Business Development and President, Bestfoods Grocery. Her expertise includes cross-border operational management, strategy development and execution, brand marketing, and M&A.
Nina is a frequent speaker on business strategy and corporate governance. She is also a Trustee of Drexel University and Drexel College of Medicine, and a Director of the Foreign Policy Association.
