Commenting on trading in the first four months of 2007, Chairman Pieter Tottesaid; "Trading has been consistent with the update provided in March at the time ofour Preliminary Statement. Napier Brown Foods, our sugar division, has seenvolume ahead of last year, reflecting wins in retail and industrial sectors, butmargins slightly down. This is in line with expectations. "Sales in Five Star Fish remain significantly ahead of last year due to priceinflation and some volume gains. Raw material cost increases continue to bereflected in selling price changes. "In Renshaws, our Bakery Ingredients division, year on year sales are downprincipally due to the discontinued nut sales made in early 2006 but also due toa slow start to the year with our bakery customers. However, Renshaw generatesvirtually all of its profits in the second half of the year and we believe thatthis shortfall will be recovered. "Haydens have made a steady start to the year with sales ahead of last year andin line with expectations. "Overall the Board is satisfied with the encouraging start to the year."
