Transaction in own shares

Real Estate Credit Investments PCC Limited announces that on 13 December 2011 it purchased 900,900 preference shares at a price of 92.5p per share. The purchased shares are expected to be held in treasury.

Following the above purchase, the Company has a total of 49,057,831 preference shares in issue. The number of preference shares purchased represented 1.80% of the total preference shares in issue prior to such purchases. The preference shares do not hold voting rights.
