VERDES MANAGEMENT PLC (AIM: VMP)
Further to the announcement made on 28 March 2013, Verdes is pleased to announce receipt of £57,500 of the £125,000 committed to be invested by Westminster Asset Management Limited (Westminster) under the convertible loan note (CLN)agreed on 4 March 2013.
Westminster's Dutch solicitors have advised that the reason for the delay has been due to compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and that the balance of £67,500 due and owing under the CLN is in the course of being transmitted to them by Westminster, a company which Verdes has been informed is registered and incorporated in the British Virgin Islands.
Following receipt of all monies due under the CLN, a priority will be to begin the implementation of the new business strategy that has been identified as being appropriate for Verdes, subject to the approval of shareholders in due course.
The Company also announces that the address of its registered office has been changed to Durham House, 1 Durham House Street, London, WC2N 6HG.
