RIT Capital Partners plc ("RIT") announces the retirement of John Makinson as a non-executive Director and member of the Audit and Risk Committee, effective 30 September 2015.
This will allow Mr Makinson to take an increased set of responsibilities for RIT's interests in the United States. To this end, he will become Chairman of RIT's US subsidiary with effect from 1 October 2015.
