Retirement of Non-Executive Director

Trinity Mirror plc (the "Company") announces that Kathleen O'Donovan, having served six years as a director, will not stand for re-election and will retire as a non-executive director and chairman of its Audit & Risk Committee at the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on 16th May 2013.

David Grigson, Chairman said: "I will save my full thanks for the AGM but for now I will say that Kathleen has been a superb Chairman of our Audit & Risk Committee. She will be a hard act to follow. We have commenced our search for her replacement."
