Appointment of Non-executive Chairman
Adventis Group plc, the AIM quoted multimedia marketing services and advertising agency, is pleased to announce the appointment of Aubrey Adams as Non-executive Chairman with effect from February 10th 2009 when he will replace Peter Mitchell who retires as a director with effect from that date.
Aubrey John Adams, aged 59, qualified as an FCA with Price Waterhouse and was Chief Executive of Savills plc from 1991 to 2008. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Air Partner PLC and a Non-Executive Director of The British Land Company PLC and Unitech Corporate Parks PLC and was appointed as a non-executive director of Adventis on 1 December 2008.
Commenting on his appointment Aubrey Adams said:
"I have been associated with Adventis since its inception as a property marketing specialist and believe the concept of a marketing services group aimed at a number of niche markets is very sound. Now that in 2009 Adventis has evolved, earning the bulk of its revenue from pharmaceuticals, telecoms & technology and financial services while remaining debt free, I believe it is well placed to become a significant force in marketing & communications. I look forward to helping the business grow."

Mr Adams is currently also a Non-executive Director of Pinnacle Regeneration Group plc and a trustee of the Wigmore Hall. During the past 5 years, he has also been a Non-executive Director of Associated British Ports Holdings plc and a Governor of Shiplake College. Aubrey Adams holds 375,000 ordinary shares of 0.25p each in the capital of the Company, representing approximately 0.9 per cent of Adventis' issued share capital.
