PLACING OF NEW ORDINARY SHARES

The Board of RAM Investment Group plc ("RAM") announces today that it has agreed a placing of 2,687,500 new Ordinary Shares at a price of 4p per Ordinary Share raising £107,500. The proceeds of the placing will be used for general working capital purposes. 

Application has been made for the 2,687,500 new ordinary shares, which will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM and trading is expected to commence on 9 February 2009.

The application for new ordinary shares includes a placing of 375,000 shares at 4p per share by Giltspur Nominees, the pension trust of Tim Baldwin, a director of the Company. Tim Baldwin's holding in the Company stands at 1,661,000 ordinary shares representing 11.81% of the issued share capital following the completion of the new shares transaction. 

Following completion of the transaction, RAM will have an issued share capital of 14,065,400 Ordinary Shares.
