Recently Launched Events Division Secures First Contracts

r4e, the transatlantic media and entertainment company, today announces its recently launched events division, reach4events ("the Division"), has secured its first contracts to produce and design the opening night celebrations for two Broadway shows in early 2013.

The Division will produce and design the red carpet and after party events for Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, directed by Rob Ashford and starring Scarlett Johansson, Ciarán Hinds, Ben Walker and Debra Monk, on 17 January, and for the first Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella with Laura Osnes, Santino Fontana, Victoria Clark and Harriet Harris, on 3 March.

Commenting, David Stoller, Executive Chairman, r4e, said:

"Our new events division not only broadens our current reach but also highlights the efforts we are making to grow revenues from complementary business areas. Planning, organising and delivering events are a natural extension to r4e's current services. It's a matter of leveraging our existing contacts and providing additional services.

reach4events was launched in New York earlier this year and focuses exclusively on producing and designing parties and events on behalf of theatre and film producers and other arts associated organisations. Both opening nights will initiate r4e's extension into theatre events, which will serve to further enhance its market leading position in theatrical marketing.
