Quintain Estates and Development plc ('the Company') announces that Nigel Kempner, executive director, subscribed for 242,455 shares in the Company on 22 July 2013 at a price of 55 pence per share under the terms of a subscription agreement entered into with the Company on the acquisition of Grafton Advisors LLP in February 2012.

Following the subscription, Mr Kempner's holds 0.06% of the Company's issued share capital.
