Operations update

Physiomics plc (AIM: PYC), a leading mathematical modelling, data science and biostatistics company supporting the development of new therapeutics and personalised medicine solutions, is pleased is pleased to provide shareholders with an update on the Company's operational progress and strategic development.

The Company continues to make strong operational progress as it executes on its strategic priorities and works to strengthen the foundations of the business for future growth. In particular Physiomics is building what is currently its largest commercial pipeline in its history, providing a strong platform for future growth and reinforcing confidence in its market position. The Board of Directors remain encouraged by the level of engagement across both existing and prospective clients and looks forward to updating the market on further contract wins and commercial developments in due course.

Inevitably the Company incurred one-off costs ahead of the general meeting in April 2026 in which the former directors were dismissed from their roles. The current Board has been disappointed with both the level and nature of some of these costs but, more positively, has identified several cost savings, the aggregate effect of which will exceed the exceptional general meeting related expenses, albeit will predominantly be realised in the next financial year.

The Board has also welcomed the supportive review of the business prepared by consultant Stewart Williams. The review highlighted a number of areas for development, and the Board believes that the majority of these actions have already been addressed by management.

In response to the recommendations arising from the review, the Company has also undertaken a comprehensive assessment of its IT infrastructure and operational systems. This review has confirmed that the business is well positioned to support its growth ambitions and provides a scalable platform capable of onboarding and delivering both existing and larger, more complex client projects. The Board believes these enhancements further strengthen the Company's ability to meet increasing customer demand while maintaining the high standards of service expected by its clients.

The Board would also like to acknowledge the continued support of Pete Sargent during this period of transition, Pete has agreed to support the Company where required until the end of August 2026 working at reduced hours as responsibilities are transferred. His contribution remains highly valued, and we look forward to further demonstrating strong leadership outlook.

Outlook

The Board believes that significant progress has been made over recent months to strengthen the operational, commercial and financial position of the Company. With an expanding pipeline, improved systems and processes, and a clear strategic direction, Physiomics is well positioned to capitalise on future opportunities.

A more comprehensive and in-depth review of the Company's progress, strategy and future opportunities will be provided within the forthcoming annual report. In the meantime, the Board looks forward to updating shareholders on further operational and commercial developments in the weeks ahead, including developments associated with Predict-Onc and DoseMe.

Commenting on the Company's financial outlook, Director Ian Bagnall said: "We have identified a robust financial strategy that we believe will support the Company in targeting a path towards breakeven. Whilst the Company has incurred certain one-off costs associated with the previous management structure, the new Board has acted swiftly to implement meaningful operational and financial changes.

"Coupled with revenues recognised prior to today's update and anticipated near-term commercial activity, we believe the foundations are being established for a more sustainable and financially resilient business. We remain focused on disciplined execution and maintaining a robust financial strategy as we move forward."
