Powerleague Group plc02 September 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE02 September 2005 Powerleague Group plc Trading Update and Notice of Results Powerleague Group plc ("the Company" or "Powerleague"), the market leadingoperator of 5-a-side football centres in the United Kingdom, will be announcingtheir maiden preliminary results for the 12 month period ended 30 June 2005 onWednesday 28 September 2005, which the Directors fully expect to demonstrateencouraging trading in line with market expectations. The Company joined the AIM market in May 2005 with the stated strategy ofexpanding its existing portfolio of 26 5-a-side football centres. Theconditional acquisition from VIDA of four further centres that it announced atthe time of its flotation is now complete and have been integrated into thePowerleague estate. The Company is also delighted to announce that the new sites in Basingstoke andKilmarnock will be opening in mid September, on budget and slightly ahead ofschedule. A further five pitches will also open in October at centres wheredemand is particularly strong. By mid-September the company will be operating a total of 32 5-a-side centresacross the UK, representing substantial organic and acquisitive growth sinceflotation.
