Update on Banking Discussions

Swansea based Pure Wafer plc, the provider of high quality silicon wafer reclaim services for many of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers, would like to update the market following the trading statement issued on 24th June 2008.

The Board reports that, following discussions with its banks, there has been an agreement to waive the quarterly covenant tests for the period to 30th June 2008.

Future covenant tests will not be affected under the current arrangements however the Board is in active discussions with its bankers to re-negotiate more appropriate covenants moving forward.
