Parity Group PLC18 December 2006 Under embargo until 7.00am 18 December 2006 Parity Group PLC Contract Win Parity Awarded Systems Integration Contract by Northern Ireland Electricity Parity Group PLC, the UK IT services group, has been awarded a partnership dealwith Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE), valued at more than £10M, in relationto the developing competitive electricity markets across the island of Ireland.Parity will primarily provide Programme Management and System Integration, basedupon their ability to design, build, test and support changes to NIE's existingsystem. Northern Ireland Electricity, part of Viridian plc, provides electricityservices to around 760,000 customers in the domestic and small business marketsin Northern Ireland. The requirement is complex and also involves the managementof multiple substantial sub-contractors. Parity bid for this contract within aconsortium comprising Engage Consulting and St Clements Services.
