Persimmon Plc ("the Company" )- Transfer of Shares held in Treasury
Persimmon Plc announces that on 15 May 2008 it transferred 3,400 Ordinary Shares held in Treasury to a participant in the Persimmon Plc Company Share Option Plan 1997 to satisfy the exercise of an option at a price of £4.195.
Following this transfer the Company holds 2,686,654 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in Treasury and the Company's issued share capital is 299,904,777 Ordinary Shares (excluding Treasury Shares).
