Persimmon PLC20 November 2007 Persimmon plc ("Persimmon") announces that on Monday, 19 November 2007 itpurchased 200,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 805.6 pence per share.The highest price paid was 814.4 pence per share and the lowest price paid was797.3 pence per share. The shares purchased will all be held as treasury shares. Persimmon currentlyholds 2,344,118 ordinary shares in treasury and following the purchase of theseshares Persimmon's issued share capital now consists of 300,247,313 ordinaryshares with voting rights (excluding treasury shares). The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations, by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to, their interest in Persimmon shares under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
