Persimmon Plc ("the Company") - Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, we announce that as at 30 April 2012 the Company's issued share capital consisted of 302,611,682 ordinary shares of 10p each. The Company no longer holds any shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 302,611,682.

The above figure of 302,611,682 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in the Company.
