Board changes

Porvair, the specialist filtration and environmental technologies Group, today announces changes to its Board of Directors.

Porvair is pleased to announce the appointment of Jasi Halai as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 18 June 2019.

Jasi Halai is Group Financial Controller and Operating Officer for 3i Group Plc and has held a broad range of senior finance positions at 3i since 2005. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds an MSc in investment management from the CASS Business School. She will join the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees of the Company.

Porvair confirms that there are no further matters in relation to Jasi Halai's appointment to be disclosed pursuant to the requirements of paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.

After a suitable handover period, Paul Dean will retire from the Board. In the seven years that he has been a Non-Executive Director, Paul has made a substantial contribution to the direction, strategy and control of the business. We will miss his wise counsel and dedicated Chairmanship of the Audit Committee.

At the time of Paul Dean's retirement from the Board, Sally Martin will become the Senior Non-Executive Director and Jasi Halai will assume the Chairmanship of the Audit Committee. In accordance with the 2018 Corporate Governance Code, John Nicholas, The Group's Chairman, will step down from the Audit Committee following the announcement of the half year results on 24 June 2019.
