Porvair PLC21 January 2005 For immediate release 21 January 2005 Porvair plc Appointments and resignation of non-Executive Directors The Board of Porvair plc ("Porvair") are pleased to announce the appointment ofCharles Matthews and Andrew Walker as non-Executive Directors with effect from24 January 2005, Michael Ost has indicated his wish to retire and will resignfrom the Board on the same date. Charles Matthews, 51, is Founder and Chairman of Sigma QC limited. He is anon-Executive Director of FKI plc and Chairman of Axeon Ltd and CreativeLearning Media Ltd. He was previously Chief Executive of Cosworth Engineeringand was a member of the Vickers plc Group Executive Board. Andrew Walker, 52, is a non-Executive Director of API Group plc, ManganeseBronze Holdings Limited, Halma plc and Ultra Electronics Holdings plc. He waspreviously Group Chief Executive of McKechnie plc and prior to that was GroupChief Executive of South Wales Electricity plc. He was previously anon-Executive Director of Galileo Innovation Plc. Charles Mathews and Andrew Walker will both join the Audit Committee,Remuneration Committee and Nominations Committee of Porvair. The Group confirms that there are no further matters to be disclosed pursuant tothe requirements of paragraph 16.4 of the listing rules.
