Declaration of Director's Interest

Further to the appointment of Dr Maslovskiy as Chief Executive Officer and as a Director of Petropavlovsk PLC (the 'Company' or 'Petropavlovsk') with effect from 5 November 2014, as announced on 21 October 2014, the Company confirms that Dr Maslovskiy and persons associated with him are directly or indirectly interested in 7,514,485 Petropavlovsk ordinary shares, representing 3.8% of the Company's issued share capital.

These shares are held through various structures and at the present time neither Dr Maslovskiy nor any other person can exercise the voting rights of 3% or more of the Company's share capital as a result of these holdings.
