Having qualified as anaccountant with Stoy Hayward, he relocated from London to New York and quicklymoved into the media arena, acting as Chief Financial Officer for WCRS NorthAmerica, Chiat/Day Advertising and Fox Filmed Entertainment. He most recentlyserved as Chief Financial Officer of Pixar Animation Studios, which he joined inMay 2004, until completion of the sale of the company to Disney in 2006. Simon is currently Vice-Chairman of Docufide Inc, a Director of MobiTV Inc andROO Group Inc and Principal of BDT Acquisitions LLC. He is also a Director ofThe Caius Foundation, The ODC Dance Company and The Orphan Support League, aswell as being a Trustee of The UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive.He was previously Chairman of SmartJog SA.
