PREMIER OIL PLC(the "Company")

Block Listing Application

A block listing application has been made for 18,231 Ordinary Shares of 12.5p each in the Company to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.

These shares will be used to satisfy the exercise of options under the Company's Savings Related Share Option Scheme 2003.

It is expected that admission will become effective on 27 May 2014. The shares will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.
