Board Appointments
9 June 2017 - Produce Investments plc (AIM: PIL), a leading operator in the fresh potato and daffodil sectors, announces the appointment of Robert Johnston and Ronald Barrie Clapham to the Board as Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect.
Robert Johnston is the principal representative of the Jerry Zucker Revocable Trust, the largest shareholder in the Company, owning 6,897,136 shares, representing c. 25.6% of the Company's issued share capital.
Barrie Clapham is a former Director and Chairman of the Company, having held that position from the Company's inception in 2006 until its AGM in November 2016, when he stood down after serving two five-year terms as Chairman. Barrie has a beneficial interest in 5,928,059 shares, representing c. 22.0% of the Group's issued share capital.
