Retail Trust Partnership Launches

Retail Trust to roll out Personal Group's proprietary technology platform to over 600,000 active members

Personal Group Holdings Plc (AIM: PGH), the digitally-enabled employee benefits and services provider, is pleased to announce the launch of its partnership with The Retail Trust.

As announced in the Interim Results statement on 21 September 2021, the Group has signed a one-year contract to provide its Hapi technology platform to the Retail Trust, the charity dedicated to supporting people working in and retired from the retail industry.

The partnership will see members of the Retail Trust provided with a new mobile app that they can use with no obligation which gives access to the charity's benefits and services - as well as discounts offered by Personal Group - much more quickly and easily than before.

The initial roll out of the Hapi platform will be to the Retail Trust's c.600,000 active member base, before moving on to target the 3 million retail workers linked to businesses signed up with the charity.

This provides Personal Group with the opportunity to substantially increase Hapi's active user base as well as providing valuable introductions to multiple major retailers. This will not only increase the Group's ability to monetise the Hapi platform, it also provides a substantial pipeline for potential cross-selling of the Group's other offerings to retail industry workers. This is an as-yet relatively untapped vertical for Personal Group.

In addition, Personal Group will benefit from taking a small percentage of the figure spent on discounted products through the platform. Access to the platform will be provided at no cost to the Retail Trust.
