Directorate change
Premier Foods plc today announces that, further to the recent announcement regarding the reduction in the shareholding position of funds managed by Oasis Management Company Limited ("Oasis"), Daniel Wosner, Non-executive Director, has notified the Group that he will not seek re-election and therefore will step down as a director with effect from the next annual general meeting of the Company, due to take place on 20 July 2022. The relationship agreement with Oasis dated 27 February 2019, as amended on 4 January 2021, will continue whilst Daniel Wosner remains a director of the Company.
Colin Day, Chair, said:
"Since joining the Board, Daniel has made an important and supportive contribution to the Company's strategic thinking, during which time the Group has made substantial progress with its objectives. I would like to thank Daniel for his services to Premier Foods over this period and wish him well for the future."
Daniel Wosner, Managing Director and Head of Europe at Oasis said:
"I am very pleased with the transformation of Premier Foods, achieved under the current management and leadership of the Chair, resolving the issues which had been holding back the Company and implementing a strategy to accelerate growth. I wish the Board and its employees every success going forward as it continues on its journey to deliver further shareholder value".
